| Designed for single door application,
the 296 non-handed, Reversible Panic Latch is certified to the CEN Standard
CEN Standard BS EN 1125, Classification No. 37601322A.
The unit is operated by a downward thrust action
on the cross bar to give a speedy exit in panic situations. A mortice
plate is supplied as standard.
Technical Data
Construction
Main body and slave unit is of diecast aluminium with an internal
mechanism of steel and a tubular steel cross bar. The latch bolt is of
extruded brass.
Finishes
Silver only with a choice of epoxy powder coated granite silver, gold,
black or white available upon request. Plated finishes are also available.
Fixing
Surface mounted. Full fixing instructions and templates supplied with
each bar.
Standard Sizes
Standard sizes suitable for single doors 1220mm wide (4'). Special
sizes are available upon request.
